This is our 9th episode of Ovations, an ongoing blog designed to recognize some of the Tampa Bay areas event venues and vendors that we have had the pleasure of working with. Tampa has sooo many excellent event businesses, and these featured businesses have displayed the highest degree of organization, professionalism, attention to detail, reliability, and in a nutshell, made partnering with them a breeze. More importantly, they also made the event seamless and enjoyable for our clients.
Just outside of downtown Tampain Hyde Park sits The Orlo, a private social club housed within the historic Spafford House and ballroom.
Self proclaimed as “an ideal balance between the historic and modern, the simple and extravagant,” The Orlo is composed of two main areas: the house and the ballroom. The house is made up of three floors, two of which are available for weddings. Just inside the entrance is a grand staircase. The first floor is an ideal space for hosting ceremonies and serving cocktails, while the second floor is a private, closed-off space for the bridal party, family and loved ones to enjoy before the ceremony. Directly behind the House is The Ballroom which features a built-in stage, hardwood floors, and four chandeliers.
